Survey in the area of Logrosán
Between the 22nd of May and the 7th of July, the archaeological and archaeo-metallurgical surveys planned in the Project will be carried out in the Logrosán area. The aims of the surveys is to study the settlement pattern and the mining district of which the exploitation of cassiterite of the Cerro de San Cristobal de San Cristóbal, between the 9th and 7th centuries BC, should have been a part. It also aims to assess the connections with the valleys of Las Villuercas and the Guadiana river. This is a selective survey in which will participate I. Pavón, D. M. Duque, E. Boixereu and A. Rodríguez.
